I am sharing the following poem, In Loving Memory of Mom,by guest blogger and my brother, Colin Morais.
In Loving Memory of Mom
Mother Mother how is heaven
I ask of you today
Is it flowing with milk and honey
as you told me yesteryear?
Mother, mother how is heaven
Did friends come out to greet
with beautiful flowers and silken robes
and songs sung so sweet?
Mother, mother how is heaven
Do you have windows there
where you can peep from time to time
and see us all down here?
Mother, mother how is heaven
Did God make you a Saint
For all the good you've done?
He shouldn't say 'I can't'.
Mother, mother how is heaven
Is Jesus by His side?
Does he still look the same today
as when I was a child?
Mother, mother how is heaven
Am I a welcomed guest?
Are my sins aplenty
and Hell my place to rest?
